This tranquil harbour-side retreat has spectacular views across Mudeford Quay in Dorset, and is surrounded by sites of natural beauty.
The hotel’s restaurants, public areas and many of the bedrooms boast magnificent views over the harbour towards Hengistbury Head. The Christchurch Harbour Hotel is the ideal location for a relaxing drink on the terrace, an afternoon tea or a lunchtime grill.
There area has several beaches offering 12 miles of golden sand, and the New Forest National Park and Beaulieu National Motor Museum can be found within a few miles.
Built in the 1830s as a gentleman’s residence, the hotel is now a Grade II listed building. It has recently been renovated to become an exceptionally sophisticated and relaxed venue.
From November 2008 you can learn to sail with Avonmouth Water Sports, based at the Christchurch Harbour Hotel, and enjoy the Nintendo Wii in the Multi Media Room. An indoor swimming pool and Premier Spa with its 5 treatment rooms will open in December 2008.

There are currently 16 non-refurbished bedrooms in the main house. 47 new and beautifully furnished bedrooms will be available from December 2008.
These rooms are in the main house and have not been refurbished. They have a classic, traditional feel, with bed linen of the highest quality, and luxurious bathrobes. The rooms are comfortable and have non-feature views. All rooms are en suite, and have luxurious toiletries.
Silver rooms are more contemporary, with modern touches and a highly distinctive style. Furnished in an elegant style, the rooms have fine bed linen, soft, fluffy bathrobes and luxurious toiletries and bathroom products. These rooms tend to be smaller in size and have non-feature views.

From 7.30, join the management team for a Champagne & Canapés, followed by a 4-course Tasting Menu in the restaurant, Christmas Eve festive entertainment will ignite the Christmas spirit with a jazz duo and the 'Shmooze Brothers'. Christmas Day join is for a leisurely breakfast . Christmas Day Lunch is a traditional affair, with a Champagne and Canapés reception followed by a 4-course luncheon.. After the Queens speech relax in the Orangery for a festive afternoon tea. For those who feel a little peckish later in the evening, Chef will prepare a traditional Christmas Day evening buffet. Boxing Day, another long lie in, followed by breakfast at leisure. For those who wish to venture out for a spot of shopping Bournemouth is not to far away, on your return a 3-course lunch awaits you. The evening commences with a cocktail and canapés reception followed by a stunning Boxing Day 4-course dinner. Beat the Boxing Day Blues away by listening to the entertaining sounds of "The Rhythm Addicts". 27th December Full English Breakfast is served from 8.00 am. A fond farewell awaits you at reception.

By Road FROM LONDON Take M3 South. Take junction 14 onto M27 heading towards Southampton. Follow signs for Bournemouth. Leave M27
at junction 1 signed to Lyndhurst, Bournemouth, Christchurch. Enter the village of Lyndhurst and take A35 towards Christchurch. One the outskirts of Christchurch with Sainsbury's on your right, take the first left off the roundabout to Mudeford. At the next roundabout take the third exit off to Mudeford; follow the road round. Go past the parade of shops on the right and the hotel is on the bend on the left-hand side.
FROM THE NORTH Take M1 then M25 towards Heathrow. Take exit 12 off M25 onto M3 towards Southampton. Follow signs for Bournemouth. Leave M27 at junction 1, signposted Lyndhurst, Bournemouth and Christchurch. Enter the village of Lyndhurst and take A35 towards Christchurch. FROM THE WEST Take A35 from Dorchester towards Poole/ Bournemouth. Then take the A31 to Wimborne. Bypass Wimborne and follow signs for Ringwood on A31. Take A338 South towards Bournemouth then follow road to Christchurch. On approach to Christchurch, take the third exit off the roundabout, signposted Mudeford. At the next roundabout go straight over through Stanpit. Follow the road and the hotel can be found on the right.
FROM THE EAST Take junction M27 heading towards Southampton. Leave M27 at junction 1 and take A339 Lyndhurst. At Lyndhurst continue round the one-way system and take the A35 to Bournemouth and Christchurch. As you approach Christchurch you will come to a roundabout with Sainsbury's on your right. Take the first exit and then at the next roundabout take the third exit to Mudeford; follow the road round. Go past the parade of shops on the right and the hotel is on the bend on the left-hand side.
FROM BRISTOL DIRECTION Take A36 from Bath heading towards Salisbury. Bypass Salisbury and take A338 to Ringwood. On reaching Ringwood go through the town centre and take the B3347 though Sopley and Winkton towards Christchurch. At the next roundabout go straight across, signposted to Stanpit/ Mudeford. Follow the road and you will find the hotel on the right-hand side By Rail The train station in Christchurch is about two miles from the hotel. Taxis are readily available and should know the hotel by name.
